Havana,  Apr 20. Cuba will show the advances of the national program of handling of plagues and illnesses, during the International Seminar of Agricultural Sanity ( SISA 2011) that will  session on May in this capital.  
Lidia Margarita Tablada, directress of the National Center of Agricultural Sanity (CENSA),  said to the AIN that the appointment-with headquarters in the Palace of Conventions -  will facilitate to expose the progresses of the Island in the control and mitigation of sanitary disasters in animals and plants.  

Their participants will debate topics related with the production of foods, the formation of the human capital in the agricultural sector and the analysis of new products for the agricultural sanity.  

It will be a fórum in the one that investigators, producers and executives of diverse countries will be able to exchange scientific and technological information,  she delimited.  

Odalys Uffo Reinosa, executive secretary of the Organizing Committee, manifested that the encounter will strengthen the agricultural and cattle collaboration among nations members of the  Bolivarian Alliance for the Towns of Our America (ALBA).  

Projects of regional integration will also be impelled in fundamental topics as the evaluation and supervision of the quality of the milk and the biological controls, with Venezuela, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Brazil and other countries of Latin America.  

Thematic of interest  will also be, the molecular genetics, the paper of the laboratories in the certification of the foods, as well as their quality and innocuousness for the human  and animal consumption. (William Fernández / AIN)
