Raul TorresHAVANA, Cuba, Nov 17. Cuban singer and popular musician Raul Torres will perform on Thursday, by the steps of the University of Havana, to put an end to the celebrations for the International Students’ Day, on November 17, and the Fourth Reading and Book Festival.

Torres told ACN that he is hopeful that this will be an unforgettable evening for him, for the audience and for guest artists and friends such as Kelvis Ochoa, David Torrens, Vania Borges, Adrian Berazain, Eduardo
Sosa and Alexander Abreu.

This singer, an interesting exponent of the New Song Movement whose pieces have been interpreted by great musicians like Argentinean Fito Paez and Spanish Ana Belen and Joaquin Sabina, said that he will perform some songs of the album “In extremis”, which has not been launched yet.

Torres expressed his gratitude with the University Students Federation (FEU) for inviting him to perform on this occasion by this bicentenary university with a rich history and for a young, intelligent, and
enthusiastic audience.

He affirmed that this concert, a gift for the young generation on the International Students’ Day, is expected to have big repercussion and to become an excellent opportunity to share feelings and love among friends. (acn)
